On Wednesday evening, December 14th, four "Greater Haight" craft breweries -- Magnolia, Social Kitchen, Barrel Head, and Black Sands -- will host the first-ever "Copper Fox Crawl." The CF Crawl will feature each host venue's release of a new beer brewed with at or near 100% hand-crafted malts from Virginia's Copper Fox Distillery, a special guest tap beer from Triple Voodoo (brewed with three different CF smoked malts), and taster "flights" of CF's distinctive award-winning whiskies: Wasmund's Single Malt Whisky and Copper Fox Rye Whisky.
Copper Fox Distillery is a pioneering North American craft distiller and craft maltster. Joining us on the Copper Fox Crawl will be the distillery's "maltrepreneur," Charley Wise (D'78), who has taken Copper Fox maltings out into the craft brewing world.
