An Evening with Lisen Stromberg '84 (2/2)

  • 02 Feb 2017
  • 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Schultz Cultural Arts Hall, Oshman Family JCC, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303

Join author Lisen Stromberg '84 as she discusses her new book, Work Pause Thrive: How to Pause for Parenthood without Killing Your Career, and offers insight into how trailblazing women integrate their work and life priorities.

Stromberg’s book aims to debunk the myth that if you pull back—to focus on kids, ailing parents, or to pursue a passion—your career will end in shambles. It provides recommendations and tips on conscious career planning that incorporate your personal desires with your professional ambitions. She also sounds a call to action to demand broader solutions for both women and men in the workplace.

Lisen will be joined by an engaging panel which will include:

  • Diane Flynn, Chief Marketing Officer, GSVLabs and Co-founder of Reboot Accelerator
  • Tina Lee, CEO and Founder of MotherCoders
  • Patricia Nakache, General Partner/Trinity
  • Josh Levs, author of All In: How Our Work-First Culture Fails Dads, Families, and Businesses—And How We Can Fix It Together

The discussion will be followed by a wine reception with Girl & Dragon Wine generously donated by Vintage Wine Estates.
