Liz Babb Fanlo, Class of 1986, will present one of her most requested presentations...“All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.”

This famous line from Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard says it all! Everyone needs to be ready for their close-up in this day and age.  Whether you need a new social media headshot for LinkedIn, Facebook, or Match; want to look fabulous at your wedding or graduation or your children’s for that matter, or simply “prepare” better for candids, this workshop is for you. Liz has prepped hundreds of men and women for just these occasions and has collaborated with scores of photographers. Her tips on what to wear, to how to smile, even to how to determine your “best side”, are invaluable for all. Leave knowing how to get yourself “camera ready”.

Known for her ability to educate others in the beauty arena, Liz owns her own makeup, hair, and skincare business in San Francisco, where she provides top rated services, lessons, styling and products. At the same time, she travels near and far (Liz is just back from the famous Rancho La Puerta, in Tecate Mexico, where she was honored to be a guest speaker) to deliver educational and enjoyable presentations on all types of beauty topics including the science of the sun, secrets of the makeup industry, and how to look great in photos!

Born and raised in California, Liz left the West Coast to pursue her education at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude. After a 16-year career in technology and high finance, Liz left Wall Street to pursue her lifelong passion of esthetics, successfully pivoting to a career in the spa industry and makeup world. She lives in San Francisco with her family and enjoys tennis, hiking, friends, and politics.
