Tim Harsch '11

CEO and Co-Founder, Owler


Owler is bringing transparency to the world of business by leveraging crowdsourcing and AI to provide data, such as revenue and employee numbers, and insight into both private and public companies globally. Since Tim joined the first company meetings remotely from Hanover back in 2011, Owler has grown to be the second largest business community in the world where professionals around the globe update over 2M data points on over 12M companies each month.

At Owler, Tim has worked across teams and locations, leveraging in particular his studies of computer science at Dartmouth as well as the problem solving he learned at Thayer. With headquarters in San Mateo and a second office in Coimbatore, India, Tim has traveled to India seventeen times to work directly with engineering, data science and data teams in roles spanning product management, occasional coding, operations and leadership. Tim graduated with an AB in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth and serves as Chair of the Thayer School Dean's Council. He resides in San Francisco, CA.


Andrea Marron TH'12

CEO and Co-Founder, Ragtrades, Inc. 


Andrea Marron is an entrepreneur and the Co-founder and CEO of Ragtrades. She is fascinated by the boundless creativity of the fashion and tech industries alike, and feels lucky to have found a career where the two worlds meet. At Ragtrades, Andrea and her team are driven by their mission: to build a better future for the rapidly-evolving fashion industry by blending human insight and data science. Andrea’s team works closely with fashion business leaders, who rely on Ragtrades' software for the global market intelligence they need to navigate a hyper-competitive landscape.

Previously, Andrea was VP of E-commerce and Retail at Nicole Miller in NYC. She holds a BS in Optical Engineering from University of Rochester, a Master's Degree in Engineering Management (MEM) from Dartmouth's Thayer School of Engineering, and is a member of the Thayer School Dean's Council. She’s committed to developing talent in and outside of Ragtrades, and is especially passionate about helping women build their careers. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son, and often travels to NYC and Europe to visit clients.


Amish Parashar '03 TH'03

CEO, Explorers' Lab


Amish is CEO of Explorers' Lab, a Silicon Valley company focused on technologies that disrupt and create industries. His venture capital experience includes serving as a founding Partner at Yamaha's $100M fund. His investment leadership into new areas of industry include startups developing artificial intelligence, robotics, medical, and autonomous systems. He has held teaching roles at Stanford's d.school and Singularity University, and is currently a Fellow at UC San Diego's Rady School of Management.

Amish graduated with a AB in Engineering Sciences with Biology from Dartmouth, a BE from Thayer School of Engineering, a MSC from University of London, and is a member of the Thayer School Dean's Council. While attempting to explore the future, he enjoys exploring the California Bay Area with his wife and two sons.
