Women Supporting Women

Join us to commemorate three special anniversaries with Women Supporting Women, an intimate conversation with special guests Adrienne “Tee” Lotson ‘82, Laurel J Richie ‘81, and Monik Whitney Walters ‘19, who were the first black women to hold their leadership roles at Dartmouth. In the 2018-2019 school year, during which their leadership time overlapped, the three women got to know each other and leaned on each other for mentorship and support.

Tuesday, January 18

7:00 PM - 8:15 PM EST

Co-hosted by BADANAAADDAPAAADALA, and DGALA.

About our speakers:

Dr. Adrienne “Tee” Lotson ‘82 served as president of the Dartmouth Alumni Council from 2018-2019. A Hearing Officer for the NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, Tee also appears on The Moth Mainstage as a featured storyteller.

Laurel J Richie ‘81 just completed nine years on Dartmouth’s Board of Trustees, serving as chair from 2017-2021. She is a co-chair of the Call to Lead campaign, chair of the advisory board of the Hop and corporate director at four companies, two of which are led by CEOs who graduated from Dartmouth

Monik Whitney Walters ‘19 was the Dartmouth Student Body President for the 2018-2019 school year. She works as a Program & Engagement Associate at the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, stewarding free and public programming in Brooklyn’s first park.

Following the conversation, INSPIRE will host short breakout sessions to discuss in smaller groups. We hope you'll join us on January 18!
