Apple Picking

Gizdich Ranch (4th generation family owned and operated, purchased in 1937) is running  U Pick apples (tradition started in 1965) for four weeks this year

Join us for prime apple picking season this September and relive your college memories from fall term at Poverty Lane!

Bring your own containers or they provide boxes for a small fee.

They accept credit and debit cards, but not cash.

Much to offer in addition to their orchards:

• Deli with a wide variety of sandwiches (turkey, ham, salami, vegetarian, cheese or PBJ) or box lunches (sandwich, cookies, chips, fruit and drink) and a picnic area
• Bakery with pies by the slice (w/ or w/out vanilla ice cream), also pies to take home (16 varieties, some are seasonal)
• Also Polar Bear olallieberry and strawberry ice cream flavors, homemade: apple slush, apple and olallieberry popsicles; apple dumplings and puff pastries are made daily; fresh berry jams and pressed apple juice
• Antique and gift shop
